Free WordPress Templates 3 Column, 2 Column, and no Column Designs.
There are tons of free WordPress templates available. You only need to do a Google search to find them. But it never fails, I can never find a template with the specs I want. Searching for a free template can be frustrating and paying for a custom template can be expensive.
What if you could build a virtual designer? What if all you needed to do was tell your designer what size template you wanted, how many columns, what colors, and special features and instantly your template materialized right before your eyes?
Well you can. Almost....
I ran across this Word Press Template Generator. In all honesty, the first thing I thought was free + generator = crap. But this was hardly the case. This generator is a great tool. I was so impressed, I spent a whole 3 minutes and designed a new template for my blog. That's probably the one you are looking at right now. I spent a couple of hours extra fine tuning and adding a few features. Once I add a new header, I believe the new design will be an A+.
Now if you already have a theme for your website and it just isn't setup for Word Press you have a few options.
1. You can do what I did and spend a couple of hours of trial and error and figure out what pieces of php you need to paste into your theme.
2. You can pay a professional $80 - $100 to incorporate Word Press into your theme.
3. You can visit a site called Themespress and pay $10 to get your existing template setup for Word Press.
Good Luck,

What I do is subscribe to the Weblog Tools Collection WordPress Themes category, as they do a pretty good job updating the list of new themes.

Not quite what you’re talking about, but I think it’s a cool idea…
