Nobody wakes up in the morning and says, "I'd like to be robbed today". But if I just have to be robbed, it be nice to for the perpetrator to be kind, courteous, and only take what he needs.
That's exactly what happened to an eighteen year old teen as he was walking out of a store where he had just purchased an artificial rose. Suspect James Mitchell allegedly approached the teen at knife point and demanded the rose.
Police Capt. Joseph DeCarlo said, "The kid told him, 'Go in there and get one.' But the suspect says, 'I want that one, and your money, too,' and pulls out a knife.
When the teen said all he had was $10, the suspect said he wanted only $4, DeCarlo said.
"He tells the kid to go into the pizza parlor and get change," DeCarlo said. "Then the kid comes out, he takes his $4 and he leaves."
The suspect was apprehended a short time later.
If you can't find a good reason to stop smoking crack, have someone read this story to you a few times. This is the future of your brain on drugs.

This is a weird story. The robber must have been really desperate for the $4. I wonder if he intended to grind the rose up and smoke it?
