1.2 Million Dollars and Counting…….

In 2006 my online businesses just missed generating 1 million dollars in revenue by $50,000. 2007 was a real roller coaster ride. There were times when I was wondering if we would even meet last years numbers. I've experienced a little burnout and didn't really give it my all. I've spent a lot of time fishing and boating that I should have been working.

Well the results for 2007 are in and they look good! My businesses have generated more than 1.2 Million Dollars for 2007. That's $1,200,000.00. It feels like so much more with all those zeros on it 🙂

I was running this business out of my garage three years ago. I can remember the first month we generated over $10,000. It was in December of 2002. I didn't think it could get much better than that. Five years later, my business can generate $10,000 on a good day.

A couple of years ago, I was only generating half that revenue and was working 2 - 3 days straight without ever going home. I experienced more work and stress that year than I could stand.

2007 was a lot different. I feel like I did a lot less work than previous years, yet the business generated twice as much as 2005 and 22% more than 2006. I've learned what a difference good people in the right jobs can make. We've been really blessed to have good employees that do whatever it takes to get the job done. Without them, I'd hate to imagine the last year.

I've really become interested in digital products over the last year. I plan to spend a fair amount of time creating and growing that business in 2008. I've found an EXCELLENT writer, that's you Kristi, and hope to automate more of these processes to streamline the creation of these digital product sites.
